Model # P1178
Shown in Black
The Friesian breed originated
in Holland, and is known to have existed in the Friesland region
of the northern Netherlands over 3,000 years ago. The Friesian is
a muscular horse, with a short thick neck, strong compact body,

short legs and the ever present feathering.
The face is long and narrow and the forelock, mane and tail are
very dense. The Friesian horse is highly intelligent, easy to train,
and has a spectacular fast trotting action. With these talents it
is no wonder that todays Friesian is an excellent carriage
and competition horse. The only recognized breed color is black.
Two different models of the Friesian are available from North Light.
This is Version #2, which was introduced as a second breed model
and shows the horse with his neck outstretched, and head looking
up. This newer model is available for order in any color-way you
desire.
